Winners of the March art contest!

The world maybe falling apart, but our contestants held it together for the March art contest!

The prompt this time was: Everything was rattling, falling apart and breaking!!!. Will Terry came up with the prompt in February, before everything LITERALLY started rattling, falling apart and breaking here in the US 🤯 Kudos to all who managed to pull through and actually enter the contest!

The two winning entries were picked during Critique Arena, our monthly event where we do critiques live. We tried out the new format again this time, where the audience got to vote!

We started with the top 16 competitors, and did successive rounds of judging where the audience voted every round and picked the top 2!

We’ll be adding the recording of the event to the video subscription next week, but in the meantime here are the two winning entries:

Winner! Art by Braden Hallett.

Winner! Art by Norman Morana.

And here are the entries that made the cut for voting:

We also got a stellar entry from one of our instructors, Shawna JC Tenney. Her image wasn’t considered for the contest since she is a teacher, but we wanted to share it anyway!

Thanks again to all who entered the contest this month, yoda best! Keep up the good work! 😊
