Winners of the November art contest

November was all about slowing down, gathering our thoughts and making something beautiful. And can we just say? We just love what you guys came up with SLOW much!

The prompt for November was….Slowvember. The challenge was to slow your roll and spend the entire month working one thing you really love. Any subject matter, any media.

Our judges evaluated all the illustrations during Critique Arena, our monthly event where we do critiques live.

Because the prompt was so open-ended, our judges critiqued ALL the entries, instead of doing the elimination rounds like the last couple of times. Then they picked their top two faves 💖

We’ll be adding the recording of the event to the video subscription next week, but in the meantime here are the entries!

These two are the judge faves🏆:

Winner! Art by Li Xin.

Winner! Art by Marissa Valdez.

And here are ALL the entries! So much good stuff, it was hard to choose 😫

Thanks again to all who entered the contest this month, stellar work everyone!

Be sure to enter our December art contest for a chance to win a live art critique.🎨 The prompt is: “as she listened closely, she overheard them talking about her…” 😱 Good luck!

See you next time in the arena…the Critique Arena!
