Happy Inktober!

Inktober is here! Are you ready to ink?

If you haven't heard of it, Inktober is a worldwide art challenge started by our very own Jake Parker! The goal is to practice inking by doing an ink drawing every day in the month of October. The rules are simple:

• Make a drawing in ink (you can do a pencil under-drawing if desired)

• Post it on social media, your fridge, or anywhere someone else can see it

• Repeat every day in October! (Or as many days as you choose to participate.)

Inktober is a great way to level up your drawing, inking, and storytelling skills in a short time.

You can follow the official prompt list above or do your own thing. They can be elaborate illustrations or quick sketches - anything is better than nothing!

If you miss a day, don't stress; just start again the next day. Choose a pace that works for you.

Post your ink drawings to Instagram with the hashtag #inktobersvslearn2024 so we can see what you're making! You can also post in our forum to inspire other artists in our student community.
