WATERCOLOR THE EASY WAY

with Lee White

With the right approach, it’s easy, fun, and actually relaxing. After teaching thousands of students, I’ve seen the same three problems pop up again and again:

1. Too many colors. More isn’t better — it’s confusing, expensive, and it kills color harmony.

2. Wrong materials. Brushes that don't hold enough water, paper that is too absorbent, paint that stains the paper, etc… if you are fighting your tools, you will never win.

3. No clear technique. Watercolor has its own rules. Without knowing how to control water and pigment, everything feels like guesswork.

Watercolor Essentials fixes all of that. Through simple, step-by-step exercises, you’ll see how watercolor works—and how fun it becomes once you understand the “why” behind it.

Watercolor shouldn’t feel like

wrestling an alligator.

You won’t be painting alone.

Inside the class space you’ll be able to share progress, exchange ideas, and cheer one another on as everyone’s skills develop. You will be able to chat with the whole group or one on one.
