When drawing characters, do you tend to draw the head from the same angle every time? Or place the hands just out of view, so you don't have to draw them?

Well, this is the class for you! Learn how to draw believable heads and hands with pro illustrator David Hohn. In this class, David will show you how to start with basic shapes, and take them to a rendered finish. The goal is to give you a solid understanding of anatomy so you can stylize or render as needed.

Confidence when drawing the human head and hands is perhaps one of the most valuable skills you can develop as an artist.

This is a 9 week class, with individual instruction and personal feedback on all your work.

Here's how it works. Every Tuesday, a video lecture will be uploaded to your student account. You can then stream the lectures and do the homework whenever you want, so long as you turn in the homework by the deadline for the instructor to critique. This format allows for a flexible schedule - no need to worry about time zones or class times. There will also be a class forum so you can meet your fellow students, and office hours for any questions that come up 😀

And for those of you who prefer to just watch the videos, this class will be added to our video subscription in August! Woohoo!
