Our Fairy Tale Traveler needs a room at the inn!✨
Last month the challenge was to design a Fairy Tale Traveler and make it your own.
This month we are going to build on that and design an inn or tavern for our traveler to bed for the night. Our brave young traveler is weary from a long day trekking through the hinterlands and needs a safe place to rest. It just so happens that there is a village nearby…
For this challenge, we want JUST the building design, no background! Building should be on white, and at a 3/4 angle.
If you haven't already heard, we have a brand new website for Critique Arena! Since we are still fine-tuning it, it's up to you how you would like to submit for the April contest. (We'll probably switch to the Critique Arena website only for the May contest).
You can submit your final piece on the SVSLearn Forum like usual, or you can submit through the Critique Arena website. We are accepting entries submitted either way!
Also, if you want to give it a go, try using the new template when you submit, we are testing it out. Follow the instructions in the file to insert your artwork.

HOW TO ENTER
Read through the prompt for this month (see above).
Create something awesome!
Download the template and follow the instructions in the file to insert your artwork. Make sure to include your name and the month in the file name. This helps us give you credit! Submissions that are missing your name at the bottom of the template will not be included on the site.
Option 1: Submit your final illustration, using the template, on the Critique Arena website.
Option 2: Submit your final illustration, with your name and SVSLearn Forum handle, on the SVSLearn Forum.
Keep the file size to no more than 500 kb.
Submit as many times as you like!
Entries must be posted by Apr 30 at the stroke of midnight ⌛️

Critique Arena is sponsored by SVSLearn.com, an online resource for artists of all skill levels.
Critique Arena is a monthly art challenge. A new prompt is released at the beginning of each month, and contestants have the whole month to create and submit artwork based on the prompt.
Entries must be submitted using the template on our Submit Your Art! page by the deadline in order to qualify. Submissions that are missing the name at the bottom of the template will not be included on the site. Entries will be accepted until the last day of the month in which the prompt was announced.
Judges will pick the Top 16 based on skill. On the second Thursday following the submission deadline, the Top 16 will face off during Critique Arena, a live event where subscribers of SVSLearn cast their votes to decide who will win. In the case of a tie, the judges decide who win.
No monkey business! Any entries considered questionable, inappropriate or spammy may be disqualified.
Only submit if you are OK with receiving a critique from our judges during a live event, which will be recorded and added to our video subscription.
You must be at least 18 to play.
No purchase necessary to enter. However, please note the Top 16 will be selected from active subscribers at SVSLearn.com. Contestants must be active on the day of Critique Arena. (Not a member? That’s ok! You can sign up for a free 30 day trial!)
We do not own the rights to your work, you do! But we reserve the right to promote your work on our online platforms. Contest entries maybe promoted on critiquearena.com and SVSLearn.com, and their associated email lists and social media.
